The right of the people to keep and bear arms is an extension of the natural right to self-defense and a hallmark of personal sovereignty. Joe Biden is already laying the groundwork for the White House to implement gun control policies unilaterally. According to Fox News: The White House has sought to avoid prejudging what Biden's recommendations would be. But the vice president hinted Wednesday that executive action -- action by the president in which Congress would not have a say -- would indeed be involved. According to gun groups who feel threatened by the Obama administration's newfound push for gun-control legislation, January 19 has now been designated "Gun Appreciation Day," which somehow will be somehow different from all the other days gun owners appreciate their firearms.
